Meet Our Leadership Team
Shana Pearl
Assistant Program Director, Shana Pearl has a natural talent for everything that is camp. Having been in camping since a child, Shana has excelled in her many roles at Lake Scugog Camp, and acts as a mentor for both campers and staff. Since her debut in 2004, Shana has been a counsellor, Craft Director and is now the Assistant Program Director. Shana’s attention to detail and commitment to go above and beyond all expectations makes her a leader within her peers. Most famous for her contagious optimism and outgoing personality, it is clear Shana’s impact on the camping community has just begun.
Emily Clark
Leadership Co-Director, Emily Clark has seen it all. A camper since birth, Emily has spent her entire life learning the ins and outs of camp. With passion and enthusiasm, Emily encourages campers and staff to do and be their best. Continuing her momentum of encouragement, Emily guides her leaders in training throughout the winter months during our yearlong program. Most significantly, Emily plays the role of teacher. Whether it is daily swimming lessons or spontaneous teachable moments, Emily utilizes her excellent problem solving skills to inspire her campers to persevere. Even though Emily has grown up at camp, it is clear that this is just the beginning.
Chloe Wyman
Leadership Co-Director, Chloe Wyman is unforgettable to all who have met her. Her compassion and empathy for others sets her apart as she takes individual time for campers and staff alike. Chloe is always available for a shoulder to lean on, a skill she continues during our year round program. As a camper since the age of 7, Chloe is aware of the struggles and challenges that both campers and staff face and takes the individual time to ensure everyone is safe and cared for. Chloe truly creates a nurturing and inclusive environment where children are able to relax and be themselves.
