We are proud to present our tree climbing program. Now in its second summer, this program has been incredibly successful! This physical element encourages problem solving and personal accomplishment. As well as the fun of being at the top of the tree and seeing the world from a birds-eye view.
Campers discover our 300 acres of beautiful mixed forest through our onsite geo-caching program. This camp wide scavenger hunt encourages teamwork and co operation as cabin groups search for hidden treasure while exploring nature at its best.
With patience and co-operation, our campers are able to indulge in the celebrated sport of archery. Our trained archery instructor provides safe and attentive instructions to ensure that our campers are able to learn the dynamics of this sport, while feeling the overwhelming accomplishment of a bulls-eye!
Each afternoon, the smell of freshly baked goods surrounds our kitchen as campers learn to bake cookies, cakes and other delightful desserts. Campers are able to express their creativity through decoration and design and of course are able to enjoy their delicious creations.
Whether they are riding through the trails in the forest, or on their way to an afternoon picnic, our campers are able to enjoy the access to our biking program. Safety and fun are combined to make this activity a hit among campers both young and old.
Each afternoon our campers are able to participate in camp wide field sports. These sports range from soccer to flag football to camp wide games of tag. Here campers are able to be active and learn to co operate on a team. Games cater to the abilities and skill levels of all campers.
Every afternoon, individual instruction is given to campers who wish to learn more about guitar. Regardless of skill level, campers are able to learn new notes and chords. Many of our campers enjoy showing off their new skill at the end of session talent show.
Our low ropes course is tucked away in our cedar forest so that campers are able to connect with nature and each other while enjoying this rewarding and exciting activity. With teamwork and co-operation, our campers are able to work together to overcome the obstacles presented.
Campers are able to express their creative side through our arts and crafts program. Whether making jewellery, a paper mache mask or even a tie-dye t-shirt, campers are sure to enjoy this program. Our on-staff artists help campers explore their creativity by making beautiful and memorable arts and crafts.
This popular morning activity encourages strength and flexibility as campers move to up-beat music in preparation for their busy day.
