We provide a fresh air camping experience for children, teens and families who most need a time at camp. At Lake Scugog Camp, we provide a non-threatening, safe environment where campers can gain new knowledge, attitudes, skills and understandings which will be of value to them in their homes and communities.
Since 1931, Lake Scugog Camp has offering life-altering programming to children, youth and mothers. Here, each camper is cared for as an individual, which we guarantee through our overall ratio of two campers for every one staff member. It has been this quality of personal attention that has set Scugog apart. Since our conception, we have been dedicated to upgrading our program and site to meet the changing needs of today’s youth.
At Scugog we believe that camp should provide a safe environment where meaningful relationships are formed, and fun and adventure is encouraged. We believe in opportunities for education in daily living and that the positive development of attitudes and values is paramount to building faith and community. Under the guidance of caring, qualified, fun leaders, children, youth and mothers are able to grow and succeed. At Scugog we understand the value of each child, and the importance of caring. The Directors maintain close relationships with all campers and staff to ensure that each person has a happy, successful summer.
